What inspired you to start your real estate business, and what do you think sets it apart from others in the industry?

I’ve always had a passion for real estate and saw a gap in the market for a more luxury full service office building in the major cites in the US. What sets us apart from others in the industry is our focus on building long-term relationships with our clients and tenants, providing personalized service, and constantly innovating to improve their rental experience in our buildings.
- How do you balance your philanthropic efforts with your business responsibilities, and what causes are most important to you?
Giving back to the community is a core value of my life and our company, and we prioritize philanthropic efforts alongside our business responsibilities. We support causes that align with our values, such as affordable housing initiatives and community development programs.
- As a social media influencer, how do you use your platform to connect with your audience and promote your business?
As a CEO, I may not be a social media influencer, but I recognize the importance of using social media to connect with our audience and promote our business. We use platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn to share updates about our properties, highlight our team members and tenants, and engage with our followers.
- Can you tell us about a particularly challenging experience you’ve faced in your career, and how you overcame it?
One particularly challenging experience I faced was navigating the financial crisis of 2008 that was directed to CRE. We had to make some difficult decisions and pivot our business strategy, but ultimately, we emerged stronger and more resilient. We learned the importance of adapting to changing market conditions and being proactive in managing risk.
- What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting out in the real estate industry?
My advice would be to focus on building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and constantly learning and adapting to changing market conditions. Commercial building’s tenants are looking for services, networking and building a strong reputation are also critical factors in succeeding in the rental real estate industry.
- How has technology impacted the way you run your business, and what emerging trends do you see in the industry?
Technology has had a significant impact on our business, from software that manages our lease renewal, and bookkeeping to online rent payments to virtual property tours. We see emerging trends in smart office technology, sustainability, and data-driven decision making that we are incorporating into our business strategy.
- How do you foster a positive company culture and encourage your employees to succeed?
We prioritize open communication for constructive performance , strategic feedback, collaboration, and professional development to foster a positive company culture. We also recognize and reward our employees’ achievements and encourage a healthy work-life balance.
- What motivates you to continue growing your business, and what goals do you have for the future?
Our motivation is to provide the best rental experience and services to all our tenants and to continue innovating and improving the industry. Our goals for the future include expanding our portfolio, incorporating new technology, and supporting community development initiatives.
- How do you manage the day-to-day operations of your business while still finding time for personal pursuits?
I learn to delegate tasks and prioritize my schedule these are key to managing the day-to-day operations of the business. I also make time for personal pursuits like tennis, gym exercise, reading, and more importantly spending time with family and friends to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Can you share a funny or memorable experience you’ve had while working in the real estate industry?
One memorable experience was a tenant who had a pet goat that he insisted on bringing with him to every property viewing. It was certainly a unique experience and one that we won’t forget anytime soon!
- What strategies do you use to attract and retain tenants in your building, and what do you think tenants value most?
We focus on providing exceptional working environments with unmatched services, maintaining high-quality properties, offering modern amenities and conveniences. Our tenant’s health and safety are imperative to us.
